Seamus McKenna - Folk Music - Live

Seamus returns to Plonk’d, after performing a few weeks ago, we loved it!

He is a UK based Multi instrumentalist and DIY Folk Musician.

Inspired by the powerful and ancient music of old, that stems from the land of England, Ireland and Scotland, Seamus will frequently be found performing these songs and sampling the Guinness in Pubs across the UK and Ireland , usually with a Banjo, Bouzouki, Whistle and Guitar.

Seamus has a passion for the Folk music of this land and feels a personal responsibility to help contribute towards its endurance through to his generation and the next.

"Man on the Moon"  was released 2022 as a single, the first since 2017's release of his first Album "Take Me To The Mountains" which featured on BBC Radio 6 Music. 2023 saw the release of his Self Made EP - "Songs of the Isles", containing classic tracks such as "High Germany"  and "The Limerick Rake", along with an original track "Working For The King" - A tale of woe from a disgruntled crown servant...

Séamus new adventures have taken him to mystic and beautiful county of Cornwall where he is currently establishing himself as a professional musician.
